The Archaeology of Childhood Project is an Heritage Lottery Fund supported project run jointly by the Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology (MAA), Cambridge and Cambridgeshire County Council’s Historic Environment Team which will culminate in an exhibition opening in January 2016.
Through research and collaboration with local community groups, museums, schools and archaeology/history societies, we will tackle questions such as how has childhood changed over the past 2,000 years in Cambridgeshire? What does this tell us about children and childhood today?
